Niner! And Lots of Other Excitement...

My little buddy turned nine months old today! This means that Ethan has now officially spent more time outside of me than inside of me, and according to Peter, he's now lived half his life in New York and half in Colorado, which means that pretty soon he'll be a "real Coloradoan." It also means that in a mere three months he will be a one year old. As I'm not yet ready to process that crazy thought, so we'll just move on to the accomplishments this little guy has been up to in the past month!

I'm also SO very excited to share that Ethan has a brand new best friend! Yesterday our wonderful friends Tera and Tyson welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Taylor Hazel, into the world. I've mentioned them a few times; this past year has been extremely challenging for them--a little over a year ago Tyson lost his legs in Afghanistan, and both Tera and Tyson have worked very hard for the last year to embrace all sorts of huge life changes, to include recovery, multiple moves, and new life!   Little Taylor, one day you'll realize what awesome parents you have...in the mean time, we are overjoyed to finally see your lovely little face! 

Finally, the coming weeks will bring still more excitement--Marie is turning four (cough, cough, gasp), my family will be in town to experience the wonders of Colorado for the first time, and we are expecting the arrival of a brand new niece any second. Exciting times!
